MOMENTUM MOTORSPORTS INKS KENT VACCARO TO FORMULA REGIONAL AMERICAS CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM IN 2020

Honing his skills in the Formula Regional Americas Championship (Formerly F3 Americas) in 2019, Kent Vaccaro is returning to the program with a goal in 2020. Rejoining forces with Momentum Motorsports, Vaccaro will pilot on the #16 Momentum Motorsports prepared Ligier JS F3. With the start of the season postponed until early June, Kent and Momentum Motorsports will start their run for the title June 5-7 at the famed Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

“We are very pleased to have Kent back behind the wheel,” explained Momentum Motorsports Phil Picard. “Kent had some high points in 2019 and had great pace at several events. As a team, we are committed to success and have worked harder than ever this offseason. We have our goals set high and will push to achieve them in 2020. At the end of the day, the ultimate goal is to be named the FR Americas Champion.”

Returning to the stable that aided Kent in achieving a podium result in 2020, as well as points scoring results in nine of sixteen events was the most ideal option for the young talent.

“I was able to do a lot of driving last year in several different types of cars,” added Vaccaro. “I added to my skillset, and I think that will be beneficial in 2020 success. Additionally, working with Momentum Motorsports is like working with family. These guys put their heart and soul into my car and speed, and I want to thank them with wins.”

With sporting events throughout the United States and across the globe at a standstill, Kent Vaccaro will need to wait to kick off his season. Originally slated for April 9-11 at Road Atlanta, Momentum Motorsports will wait until June 5-7 before they can take their first green flag of the season at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
